Pittsburgh Bulldogs win 2009 11U Lancer Classic Championship!
The Pittsburgh Bulldogs went undefeated and won the 2009 11U Lancer Classic championship 9-2 over the Matthewson McCarthy Bandits. The Bulldogs showed that hard work and good coaching are a dominate combination, and went 5-0, including one game with a three run walk off home run.
The Clarence Red Devils beat Lancaster Depew Black in the Tier II Championship game. The Red Devils won against the Buffalo Wings Black earlier in the day to make it to the Tier II Championship.
Our own Lewiston Lancers 10U team won the Tier III championship over Lou Gehrig Blue. Hard work and great play showed that even the little guys can come and play great baseball. After going 0-3 in pool play, the Lancers came back strong Sunday, winning two games.
