The 2008-09 Tigers ended the Empire League season 10-0. This is the first Valencia varsity team to finish their league season undefeated.
Other notable accomplishments:
*13 game winning streak. The Tigers defeated: Fairmont, Savanna, Cypress (2), Katella (2), Kennedy (2), Loara (2), Pacifica (2) and Fountain Valley.
*Undefeated at home (8-0).
*Empire League Champion for the 3rd time in the last 5 seasons.
*Christain Mack was selected as the Empire League MVP.
*Jeffrey Mutabazi (1st team), Brian Berkley (2nd team) and Omar Perez (2nd team) were selected All-League.
*Made the CIF play-offs for the 6th consecutive season.
*Christian Mack was selected to the 2AA All-CIF first team. Christian was also selected to the Orange County All-Star game.
