How many times a week are there games? practices?
This varies by age and by coach. Generally, you can expect 2 games a week. Practice plans are up to the individual coach. Since the first month of the season is all practice, you can expect 2 days a week of practices then (with many coaches doing three, especially with older kids). Once the season starts, practices are fewer, since games are occurring.

What is included with the uniform? What equipment do we need to buy?
The uniform included with your registration fee includes a hat, shirt, pants, socks. For minors and up, a belt is included. You will need: Cleats You will need to get baseball cleats. Juniors and older can use steel cleats. All younger kids use rubber cleats. Note that there is a BIG difference from baseball cleats to soccer and other shoes. Mitt There are many styles. Remember that if the child is right handed, he needs a mitt for the left hand. If the child is left handed, he needs a mitt for the right hand. Talk to the sporting goods folks for help if you are not sure. Cup This is mandatory for boys. Bat This is optional, although many kids do have their own. Be sure if you get one it specifically states it is little league approved. It will be printed right on the bat. Helmet The league supplies helmets, but again, many kids like to have their own. It's nice to have a helmet you know fits. Do not paint the helmet, or add stickers etc. The concern here is that it may be hiding cracks. Leave them exactly as bought, and use a permanent marker to put your kid's name on the underside of the bill of the helmet.
