Rink Work Day!

We will be organizing a rink clean-up day on Saturday, March 22nd at 10am.  We should be there most of the day.

If you can help out, even if it's not the whole time, it would be greatly appreciated. 

Jobs to include:

* Cleaning Bench areas and locker rooms

* Clearing some of the brush and weeds beside the parking lot

* Fixing tiles and some of the kick boards

* Clearing the old shed

* Throwing away junk

* Other jobs TBD

Spring Session Notes of Interest

*Text "roller" or "footer" to 84483 (or both) to get alerts so you know as soon as we know if games will be postponed on a certain day. Also keeps you in the loop with any important information that needs sent out.

*ALL players must have a number on their shirt for each game.  Taped numbers are acceptable.

* Teams need to sign-in before each game.  Stats cannot be properly updated if teams are not signing in. Also, we have no ways of tracking how many games you have played.  Therefore, if you are not signed into at least three games, you are ineligable for playoffs.  This is a team responsibility.

*As you may have seen, we are now selling water, balls, and tape in the office.

*You may have seen some recent changes to the locker rooms, a new ref room, and surrounding areas.  I hope you appreciate the work that was put into that.  Please help us keep the rink clean and tidy by picking up and throwing away trash into the many trash cans throughout the rink area. 

*The smoking area has moved to the corner of the rink by the vo-tech parking lot.  Please do not smoke anywhere near the entrence and make your way down to the new area.

*Thank you for being so prompt with payment this session.  For those of you that haven't paid, you are still inegliable to play until payment is recieved.  Payment instructions are below. 

*There is a new delay of game penalty for this year.  Any ball hit out of the defensive zone that goes over the fence is a 2 minute delay of game penalty.  If the ball is delflected or goes into bench area, no penalty will be called. 

*Yes, swearing is still a penatly so don't be so surprised when it's called!

*Only refs are permitted to be in the new ref room.  Only rink employees are permitted to be in the office.  Both locker rooms are open each night as well as the picnic area.  If you are concerned about anything getting taken or stolen, please leave locked in your car.
