Now that the games are over and the snack bar is closed up we'd like to thank everybody that helped put on a great Tournament this year. The umpires, snack bar volunteers, the coaches, the field crew, the Rockville City Recreation and Parks Department, the RBBA Board, and our sponsors. And of course all of the kids that came out and played some great games and the parents drove them around all weekend. Also, the tournament wouldn't have been possible without the help of BCC as well as Richard Montgomery, Rockville and Wootton High Schools which let us use their fields and facilities.

Given the wet weather we all experienced this spring, it is amazing we got both tournaments in with only a few weekday games having to be rescheduled.

Of course everyone noticed and appreciated the green canopies that were provided by the Sidney J. Malawer Memorial Foundation and Suburban Hospital. They really made a difference and we are very grateful to them for the contribution. If anyone would like to personally thank them their website is at www.blockitout.org.

One last request - if you made it to a Championship game - please send the Tournament Director a photo of your Champion or Runner Up team for our 2009 photo archive. Most of the photos for the Intramural Tournament last week have been received -- but we'd like to have one of each team this week and last with their awards please.

Congratulations to all of the Intramural and Travel Tournament Champions and Runner Ups. I'd like to close with a big thank you to everyone that participated and volunteered and we sincerely hope we'll see you back again next year!
