We will be posting the results of our Predator's Team members here for both League Wrestling, Official Team Tournaments and Individual Tournaments. If you know of a Predator wrestler who placed in a tournament not shown here please contact randy frank at stephtf@aol.com with the tournament name, wrestlers name, category, place earned and any other info.
2007/08 ROUND-UP
The Predators had a very sucessful season last year and plan even better things for this year. Among last years accomplishments were:
2 Jr. All Americans
1 MD Folkstyle State Champion
9 Placers winners at the State Tournament
The Predators placed 5th out of 51 Teams at the State Tournament
1 MD Freestyle State Champion
1 MD Greco/Roman State Champion
1 MD National Team Member
The Predators had wrestlers place at Eastern Nationals
& The Ohio Tournament of Champions
The Predators had place winners in every tournament they participated in and placed at every Dual we entered!
The boys are to be congratulated - Now for 2008/09 the boys have set their sights even higher and we'll be tracking their progress here!

Each year the Capital Area Wrestling League holds an open pre-season tournament. This year the Predators Elite Team placed 1st with 353 pts (more than 100pts above the second place team) and had many outstanding efforts including.

Virginia Challenge - 12/19-21/2008
Several of our Predators were selected to the CAWL AllStar Team and wrestled in the 2008 Virginia Challenge in Hampton Virginia. The Virginia Challenge is widely know as one of the toughest Dual meets in the country. The tournament was a 16 team Dual meet broken up into (2) 8 team pools. The "CAWLSTARS" won 4 and lost 3 matches in their pool and finished in 4th place in the pool. That qualified them to wrestle in the Championship bracket against some of the best teams in the country including Michigan, PA Gold, PA Blue, NJ Lightning, NJ Allstars, and Georgia. To even make the championship pool while giving up 5 forfeits is incredable! The boys got to wrestle some of the best in the country and they held they more than held their own finishing 8th at the tournament. Our very own Coach Ken was selected with Tony Neis to coach the team. The following Predators deserve recognition for their accomplishments in both being selected to the CAWLstar Team and for their place at the tournament:

Tyrant Duals - 12/28/2008
On December 28th the Predator Elite Team traveled to Wilmington Delaware to wrestle in the Tyrant Duals. Like the VA Challenge this is one of the toughest Duals around. The boys again got to wrestle some of the top wrestlers in the country. The Predators finished the day 3-2 and placed 6th out of 16 teams. They really made the coaches proud!
CAWL - 1/3/2009
The CAWL (Capital Area Wrestling League) has finally started. The Predators Elite returned to their 08 form by winning their first 2 matches but then lost a nail biter to the Outlaws.

Mason Dixon Quad - 1/4/2009
The Mason Dixon Quad is a Dual event where Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delawere send All-Star Teams to compete for bragging rights between the 4 states. This years team featured several Predators.

TULSA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS - 1/16-18/2009
The following Predators made the trip to Tulsa, Oaklahoma for the TULSA NATIONALS this year. Tulsa attracts the top Jr. wrestlers in the country with almost 2,500 wrestlers and unbelievable competition. The boys represented us well with most advancing to at least the quarter-finals.

McDonough Duals - 1/31/2009
The Predators were well represented at this years McDonough Duals with Predator Wrestlers wrestling on several different teams. The McDonough Duals features teams from across the country and exposes the boys to some of the best wrestlers in the country.

Maryland State Qualifiers
The following Predators have qualified for the Maryland State Championship which will be held February 28th and March 1st in Timonium Maryland.
We had 29 wrestlers tryout and 18 qualified (we had 6 others finish 3rd and just missed the cut);
