The Miller Family |
Courtney Miller played in San Marino National Little League from 1995-2000. She was a spirited and positive player, enthusiastic competitor, hard worker, good friend and teammate, and embodied all of what it means to participate in SMNLL Softball. She continued that spirit in later endeavors, inspiring others in her brave fight against cancer which took her life in 2006 at the age of 19.
San Marino National Little League, the Courtney Miller Foundation and the Miller family will annually recognize a SMNLL Softball Player who exemplifies the traits remembered so well in Courtney: team spirit, enthusiasm, sportsmanship, team contribution, dedication, cooperation, inspiration and fair play.
