2009 SAA Fees
The Soderville Athletic Association has been providing our area communities with quality youth recreational opportunities for over 50 years. SAA is a community-based organization operated by a volunteer Board Members and supported by many other volunteer parents and community members. Certain paid non-volunteer positions are necessary to maintain the quality of SAA, but the vast majority of our organization is volunteer operated.
SAA recreational baseball and softball programs for boys and girls ages 5 and older in a fun and encouraging atmosphere. SAA comprises both recreational baseball, and recreational and competitive level fastpitch softball programs at various age levels. The following fees have been set for SAA in 2009:
6U Baseball - Introductory (coach pitch) level played on Fridays. Registration Fee - $80
8U Baseball/Softball - Coach pitch played on Mondays and Wednesdays. Registration Fee - $110
10U Baseball - Player pitch played on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Registration Fee - $120
12U Baseball - Played on Mondays and Wednesdays. Registration Fee - $120
10U/12U/14U/16U/18U Fastpitch Softball - Schedule to be determined (games will be played against other SAA teams and Centennial Fastpitch). Registration Fee - $120
10U-18U Traveling Fastpitch Softball - For girls interested in a more competitive type of fastpitch softball (additional fee if make a team). Registration Fee - $120
13U/15U/16U/17U-19U Baseball - Played twice per week with varying nights. Play recreational level teams from other nearby communities (i.e., Andover, Coon Rapids, etc.). Registration Fee - $130
New for 2009 - 10U and 12U Baseball players interested in playing more competitively and in more tournaments will have the chance to try out for a SAA Tournament Baseball team.
At the time of registration there will also be a fundraiser fee of $40 per child and a volunteer fee of $30 per child (maximum charge will be for two children) added to your total registration fee.
