    2007 Knights, Crusaders and Warriors made it to the first round of the Peace River Play-Offs but unfortunately, the Knights fell to Engelwood, the Crusaders lost a close defensive struggle to Immokalee and the Warriors lost to Immokalee as well. Congratulations to these teams and all of our Venice Vikings on an outstanding season!

    Venice Vikings Warriors(9-2)Hosted Chalotte Warrior in a Bowl game and won 20-12. We came in to this game on short notice and Charlotte was licking the chops and we noticed from the get go that they had us well scouted but we shook off the cob webs and got into gear Will Galager scored on two run plays and Kyle Callahan hooked up with Zach Lewis for a touchdown pass to put the warriors a head for good.

    Venice Vikings Warriors(8-2) Traveled to Tampa to compete in a bowl game last saturday againts the Tampa Bulls. Venice jumped out to an early lead When Kyle Callahan Passed for a 20 yard touchdown pass to a wideopen Zac Lewis . Warriors finished out the scoring with a 32 yard touchdown Pass to Tyler Spann . Defense was once again outstanding . Steping up this week on Defense was Jerad Grad , Edger Montero And Kevin Newland .

    Warriors travel to Jupiter FL for there Final Game of the Season .

    Warrios defense did not look them selfs as n.Ft Myers took the opening drive right down the feild and put 8 points on the board good thing the Warrior offense was in full swing cause ft myers was playing tough the whole game and offense had to keep awnsering there points . then with a few adjustments the d was able to contain them from and more points .

    Warriors 19 Cypress 0

    Venice Warriors(6-2) played nearly a flawless game against Cypress lake (6-2)Winning 19-0 and only committing 2 penalties the hole game and most important no turn overs,while recovering 4 turnovers by Cypress. Scoring started with 7 seconds left in half when Will Gallagher Booted a 22 yard field goal to put the Warriors up at half time 3-0. Warriors were without there leading Rusher Jamar Richardson who was attending his Grandfathers funeral .So Kyle Callahan moved from QB to tail back to fill that void and Bullet Billy Marsden took over cadences for the game .Trey Burton lead the Rushing on slot behind the great blocking of the front line, with 158 yards rushing, Tyler Spann added 72 and Kyle Callahan with 48 .Burton Scored both touch downs for the Warriors A four yard plunge , and a 28 yard sweep around end .Defense was once again amazing Gang tackling and only allowing 3 first downs .Cypress has not been beat on there home field since 1996 when the Warriors beat them for the Peace River conference championship .

    Warriors Got on the board with some fine running from Tyler Spann . Jamar Richardson Finished out the scoring By pounding it in from 3 yards out to end the scoring. Richardson was the leading yard maker for the Warriors with just under a hundred yards . Defense was stellar allowing no points .leading tackler was Kyle Keffe

    Warriors played Cape toe to toe for the first Half Trailing by 2 points 12-14 .Cape come out throwing in the second with quick receivers and Warriors did there best to corral them Spencer Lapps had a great game Returning a fumble for a td .Will Gallagher returned a punt for a TD And Kyle Callahan rushed for a TD

    Warriors get Decleated , Fort Myers came to Town and played Warrior style football and caught the warriors off guard Slapping a 18 - 8 lose on the Warrior Boys . Bright spot for Warriors was Tyler Spann Caring the offense just shy of a hundred yards on the night . Trey Burton scored on a 35 yard td pass from Kyle Callahan for the lone score of the night. Warriors threaten several other times but ended up killing the drive with penalties or turnovers.

    Jamar Richardson opened up the scoring for the Warriors on a 8 yard scamper Trey Burton Took the kick -off after half , 80 yards for the touchdown.and to close out the scoring Zack Lewis caught a Kyle Callahan touch down Pass from 8 yards out.Behind the fine blocking of Donald Schillinger , And Tony Gonter. Warrior defense was once again stellar giving up Minus 10 yard rushing Due to the fine Defensive line lead by Ethan Mix With 5 sacks . But allowing 80 yards in the air , with 3 interception .Bill Howe ,Kyle Keefe and Robert Fordham each reeled in one , Fumble recoveries were made by Billy Marsden' And Tyler Spann .Warriors are now 4-0 and Face Fort Myers Jr Firecats at home this Saturday

    Tre Burton And Jarmar Richards Both found the endzone from 10 yards out,Behind the Blocking of Spencer Lapps And Billy Howe To help keep the Warriors undefeated .Defense has been stellar Allowing only 4 first downs . Warriors would like to send out our deepest sympathy to the Cape Youth Organization for the lose of a Player and Mom that lost there life on the way Home aftertheir Game With the Warriors

Today, they showed everyone why that was the case as they defeated the East Anchorage Eagles (AK) in an incredible triple-overtime thriller by the score of 24-18 to secure their second straight Division I Midget title Division II Midget The Cape Youth Hurricanes showed up today poised for a National Championship in the Division II Midget bracket. They controlled the game from start to finish as they defeated the the Bolingbrook Trojans 28-8. The hometown team had a great following, as the large capacity of fans were there to cheer on their Hurricanes, and they were not disappointed.
