Welcome to the 2017 season of Jr. Eagles Cheerleading. We are very excited to get this season started! We have an exciting fun filled schedule ahead of us!! This is a quick list of cheer events and activities scheduled at this time-updates/changes TBD. Please follow us on Facebook, Twitter,and Instagram- check our website calendar for any updates.
June 4th- Uniform, Shoes, and Warm Up Sizing: LITH Village Hall- Arrival tmes for your specific squad and info to follow: All cheerleaders are required to attend to be fitted for the cheer season
*FUNDRAISER VALUE CARDS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED ON JUNE 4th*
*June 20th, 21st, and 22nd - Jr. Eagles Cheerleading Camp- hosted by Jacobs HS Cheerleaders!
Times: 8:00-12:00n- (3-8th grade) and 8:00-10:00a (K-2)
and
June 22nd - Cheer Camp family showcase @ 6:00-7:00pm at Jacobs HS, return to the HS later that evening- all are welcome to watch!!
*July 16th - Mandatory Parent meeting- Open forum and information session- LITH Village Hall- 6:00pm attendance required- important information will be discussed.
*July 17th- First day of cheer practice 6:00-8:00pm. Lake in the Hills Village Hall field.
July 29th - Algonquin Founder’s Day Parade- Downtown Algonquin @ 9:00- 12:00pm- "Sports Spectacular" is the theme. (CANCELLED)
July 31st- August 17th- "Fill the Shelves" Food Drive- Bring non-perishable food items to practice this week for our first community service event for our cheer season! Boxes will be at practice at the LITH Village Hall field and PCA to drop off your items.
August 5th- Jr. Eagles Car Wash- located at Algonquin State Bank on Randall Road and Bunker Hill at 10:00a- 2:00pm. More info will be given to you by your coaches. Tell your friends and families!! Support the cheerleaders!
August 5th - Buffalo Wild Wings Fundraiser- It’s Junior Golden Eagles Cheerleaders Day!! Help support our organization!! Go enjoy a great meal after the car wash and don’t forget to bring your flyer!!
August 10th- Parent Practice Showcase and Raffle- LITH Village Hall field- It's Parent night at our outdoor practice!!
Auguust 19th - Picture Day- All squads full organization photo and individual photos. Photo schedule to be announced- location this season is outside at the LITH Village Hall field- weather permitting, Indoors at the Village Hall if raining
August 26th-27th -**Opening weekend of the Jr. Golden Eagles football season!! Saturday and Sunday games begin!!**
Sept 2nd– Lake in the Hills Sunset Fest Parade - Details to follow.
October TBD - Jr. Eagles Football Homecoming weekend- Homecoming date/events to be scheduled/announced from your squad.
November 6th-16th- “Thanksgiving Cheer“ Food drive. Feed a family for Thanksgiving!! More info to follow.
December 15th , 2017 - End of the Season Cheer Banquet- Join us as we celebrate our cheer season with an awards presentation and dinner at D'Andrea's Banquets in Crystal Lake. Details and ticket info will be provided as the event approaches.

*Parent Meeting: We request and encourage you to join us for an informative meeting discussing important changes and everything you need to know about our 2017 cheer season. Mandatory attendance requested.
*Cheer Clinic/Camp: Exciting 3 day cheer camp hosted by the Jacobs High School cheerleaders, the girls will work on stunting, jumps, cheers, and how to work together and follow a mini routine. It is a great time for the girls to meet, and learn new cheers! Jr. Eagle’s competitive cheerleaders are highly encouraged to attend.
*Practices: Starting on July 17th, we will begin our cheer season. Practices will be outside on Mon, Tues, and Thurs. from 6-8pm ( Flag squad until 7:oopm) at the field behind the LITH Village Hall. We will move indoors for practice when school starts. Indoor practice sites and practice schedules will be announced. Practice schedules will be discussed with your squad coaches. Recreational/non-competitive squads will decrease to 1 day a week when school starts.
*Football Sideline Cheering: Game schedules will be available from your coaches. Season begins in late August. Game schedules will be given as soon as available from the football league, and game times will be assigned.
