This area will be available to assist everyone with questions they may have in participating with OMYA as well as youth football, in general, within Anne Arundel County.


  • How can I register my child and how much does it cost?
    There are numerous ways to register your child.  The easiest way is to submit your registration online, under ONLINE FORMS.  Once you complete your registration and submit payment, your child will be added to his/her teams roster and you will start to receive information as the season approaches. 


     
  • Which teams will you be fielding in 2017?

    OMYA will field 70lb, 80lb, 90lb, 100lb, 11U, 12U, 13U.  Second teams will be added, as needed, depending on sign ups.  We anticipate more then one team on numerous levels.

  • Will you have cheerleading this year?
    YES!  Old Mill Youth offers youth cheerleading for ages 4-14.  Please reach us via email at  omyacheer@yahoo.com.  

 

  •  Do you offer Scholarships?  OMYA is a Non-Profit organization which is solely funded through our Registration, concessions, and fundraising efforts.  We make every possible attempt to work with our Community for players who may be at a disadvantage or hardship financially.  For more information, if you need assistance, please contact Jenn Ballard at omyasecretary@yahoo.com.

 

  • Do you offer payment plans towards Registration costs?
    We accept payments towards the full amount, however all payments must be made in full, prior to the first day of practices.  Equipment will not be issued to any player unless all financial obligations have been met.

     
  • When does football practice start and when do games begin?
    The third Monday in July is always the first day of official practices.  The seasons game schedule is typically out just before Labor Day weekend.  

     

  • Where are games played?
    Various Anne Arundel County fields and schools as scheduled by AACO Recreation & parks. 

     

  • How many days per week do you practice?
    All teams practice 5 days a week, Monday - Friday from 6:00pm - 8:00pm.  Once school starts, practices will be three days a week, which are also usually from 6:00-8:00pm. During the school year, the days your team practices may vary, based on your Head Coach's discretion.

·     How can I register my child and how much does it cost?

There are numerous ways to register your child.  The easiest way is to submit your registration online, under ONLINE FORMS.  Once you complete your registration and submit payment, your child will be added to his/her squad’s roster and you will start to receive information as the season approaches. 

·     Which squads will you have in 2017?

In years past we have had a minimum of 4 squads (6U, 8U, 12U, and 14U).  For the 2017 season our goal is to have at least 4 squads.  As registrations are received and placements are made, we will have a better idea of exactly how many girls we will have!

·         Do you offer Scholarships?

·     Where are games played?

Our practices are held at Randanzo Park (located at 580 Upton Road).  Our games are scheduled at various fields and schools throughout Anne Arundel county.

 

·     How many days per week do you practice? 
Typically two, no more then three, nights per week.  Practices are Mondays, Wednesdays, and sometimes Fridays (depending on age).  Practices begin at 6:30pm, end at 8pm.
