Quote from Co-founder Matt Timney in the Ice Storm Face Book "Locker room".

“I got word today from Dave Baldwin that Dan Lawson purchased the Ice Storm. Nothing could have made me happier. Dan when asked to play years ago put the pads right on and has always been a integral part of the team, and the spirit of the team. I know Dan will run things properly, the way we started the team. Dan loved our philosophy of football, and I am so glad that he has the team. The Ice Storm is all a part of us, and I know Dan will keep that mantra alive. Dan you are a true football player thank you for letting the legend live on”.

Dave Baldwin
Owner/Vice President of Team Operations/Founder

Dave Baldwin grew up in Burlington where he went to school and played youth and then high school football for the D I Burlington Seahorses. After graduation Dave joined the Plattsburg North Stars Semi Pro Football team and played for several years before becoming a team co founder of the Ice Storm.
(see Dave Baldwin/Matt Timney/History/ Tribute page).

While on the Ice Storm, Dave was voted in as an N.E.F.L. All Star linebacker, Ice Storm Defensive Player Of the Year, and also was voted Mr. Ice Storm, (which is the teams highest honor), multiple times in the early years of the organization. As a former BOD member/owner Dave also helped shape organizational policies, and was instrumental at building the defensive playbooks and helped as a player/coach on the defensive side of the ball. He also was the Defensive Coordinator in 2010 and stepped into the Head Coaching position for one game (a victory over Plattsburgh) due to HC Salmons absense for his daughters wedding.

Baldwin also took the lead in alumni relations and held the annual team "draft bash" at his camp that really was a way for old and new players alike to meet and catch up on Ice Storm news.

Dave works at a local currier service and is married to Angel Baldwin and together they have three children Victoria, Hayleigh and Emma.
