AN EVENING FOR PAUL BIRDSALL
We have received some great news.  As you may or may not know, Paul Birdsall's condition deteriorated quite rapidly and as a result he was put on the transplant list as of Dec 1.  On Dec 6th, Paul was given a liver transplant. He still has a long way to go and has been in the hospital, all but for a few days, since July and it could be a month or longer before he is able to return home from Toronto General Hospital.

A full update has been posted on the MORSL Website in the Trash Talk forum...

Bob MacLean has booked Colonel Mustard's (newly renovated) for Tuesday, Dec 11, as a P.B. Night.  Please come out to share in some Christmas Cheer with your MORSL friends, watch the Leafs beat Boston, have some wings, and if you'd like to make a donation towards Paul's out-of-pocket expenses, we know it would be appreciated.
We'll bring some cards for euchre if you'd like to play.

We urge you to come out 7:00 pm 'til whatever. Thanks, on behalf of the Birdsall Family.

2007 AWARDS NIGHT A HUGH SUCCESS
We seated over 200 guests at our annual awards night including some pop in guests.  This was a significant increase over previous years.  Great thanks to Peter Scudds for setting the schedule and keeping to his goal of having people on the dance floor by 9:00pm.  From the feedback we've received it was a great evening. Congratulations to all award winners.

We will post pictures on the website as they become available.
