HAPPY GROUND HOG DAY  

Ok, You're getting in shape, right... or just thinking about it.  Well that's a start.  Thought you'd go out and lift some weights eh!....I mean shovelling tons of snow from that last great dump.  Well, Santa didn't get you that cool snow blower you wanted and you just blew out your shoulder.  Now you're in rehab and physio, getting in shape is going to be delayed just a little bit longer again.  
No sweat, there's always the usual "Opening" game stretch.  

Just 3 months till the season opener (Sunday May 4th).  
Draft Day Sunday March 30 (Details to follow).    

VALENTINE'S DANCE/SILENT AUCTION
FEBRUARY 15TH - BOX GROVE COMMUNITY CENTRE

Tickets in advance $30 a person which covers your entrance, and the buffet. 

Update: Anyone who occasionally check's out the "Trash Talk" forum on the MORSL web site knows that we have been in touch with Paul recently, and is coming along slowly. He is touched by our efforts we have put in for the Valentine's Day party and is really determined to make it to the party and is looking forward to seeing his friends.

We have sold close to 80 % of the tickets, so if you are interested in coming and helping out Paul, get in touch soon and reserve yours contact Allan Grant iagrant@rogers.com

The food will be good, lots of your favorite refreshments, and the items for the silent auction are piling up.

Remember proceeds will be going to help out Paul.

          Basil's (318 Raymerville) this an next Sunday from 12:30 - 2:30 pm
          Bill's (71 Colonel Butler) this and next Sunday from 11am -1:30 pm

REGISTRATION UPDATE
If you are a returning player and expect to play this season and have NOT re-registered, you better get you registration in NOW.  
At our last meeting, we only have 8 openings left after which names go to the waiting list.  There are a number of longtime players who still have not re-registered, if you are one of them... then you better get you money in.  Got friends? New players welcome.
