CBR Minor Hockey

Players registered for the Bantam C/D tryouts have been grouped into 3 tryout groups below. Tryouts will consist of 3 games each. Please check the website schedule for the dates/times/location. Tryouts will begin tomorrow Friday November 10th and Saturday November 11th.  Due to an odd number of groups trying out, the Green Team will play an extra game Nov 22nd but it will not count as part of their evaluation. Goalies are asked to please follow the separate schedule below.

What you need to know about trying out for an All Star Team:
In order to register and tryout for our Development Teams that will compete in the 2018 Provincial Tournaments, players must be registered with us for the 2017-18 hockey season.

Players selected to a an All-Star or Developmental Team must participate in the 2018 Provincial Tournament held at Easter time, April 05th - April 07th, 2018.  Failure to do so may result in the player not being eligible to try out for All Star in the following season as stated in the By-Laws.

As passed at the September 10th, 2017 Executive Meeting regarding Player Eligibility for All Star Tryouts: "A Player must be, and have been in the previous season, a member in good standing of a Minor Hockey Association, to be eligible for All Star Tryouts".

What to expect if your child makes an All Star Team. Please Note The Following:
Players must continue to play with their house league teams for practices and IHL games.

All Star players will pay an additional fee for the season and a deadline to pay will be set when teams are named. The fee will cover team ice time, player socks and the Provincial Tournament fee. The amount will be determined in coming days and this announcement will be updated.  

Please be advised that effective 2017/2018 hockey season parents must provide a post-dated cheque for their child's All Star Jersey. No jersey will be disbursed without a post-dated cheque written for $200 made payable to CBRMHA and dated for April 20, 2018. At the end of the season, cheques will be returned or destroyed upon return of Jersey on or before April 19, 2018.  Cheques will be deposited on April 20th 2018 for any Jersey not returned, no exceptions, the policy will be strictly enforced.
