CBR Minor Hockey

Players registered for the U20 have been grouped into 2 tryout groups below. Tryouts will consist of 3 games each. Please check the website schedule for the dates/times/location or see schedule listed below. If you can not attend one of the sessions please send an email to Tony Lambert our Female Rep.

Tryout Schedule:

Wednesday December 13th @9pm at CBS Arena
Tuesday December 19th @9pm at RFM Stadium
Wednesday December 20th @9pm at CBS Arena

What you need to know about trying out for an All Star Team:
In order to register and tryout for our Development Teams that will compete in the 2018 Provincial Tournaments, players must be registered with us for the 2017-18 hockey season.

Players selected to a an All-Star or Developmental Team must participate in the 2018 Provincial Tournament held March 23-25th, 2018.  Failure to do so may result in the player not being eligible to try out for All Star in the following season as stated in the By-Laws.

As passed at the September 10th, 2017 Executive Meeting regarding Player Eligibility for All Star Tryouts: "A Player must be, and have been in the previous season, a member in good standing of a Minor Hockey Association, to be eligible for All Star Tryouts".

What to expect if you make an All Star Team. Please Note The Following:
Players must continue to play with their house league teams.

All Star players will pay an additional fee for the season and a deadline to pay will be set when teams are named. The fee will cover team ice time, player socks and the Provincial Tournament fee. The amount will be determined in coming days and this announcement will be updated.  The Teams first practice session will be Thursday December 28th @9pm at the CBS Arena

Please be advised that effective 2017/2018 hockey season parents must provide a post-dated cheque for their child's All Star Jersey. No jersey will be disbursed without a post-dated cheque written for $200 made payable to CBRMHA and dated for April 20, 2018. At the end of the season, cheques will be returned or destroyed upon return of Jersey on or before April 19, 2018.  Cheques will be deposited on April 20th 2018 for any Jersey not returned, no exceptions, the policy will be strictly enforced.
