President's Question
Dear Booster Club member and potential member,
I wish to pose a question to you and give you my philosophy about the subject.
Is it really just a game?
Over the years I have heard people say this time and time again and I submit to you that it is not just a game it is life. As we go through the season I want you to think about what we are trying to teach our young men and women. This is life. The way our children conduct themselves on the playing field is the way the conduct themselves in the class room, at functions and some day in the work force. If a child is disrespectful to coaches and officials on the field he is that way in the classroom. If a child has a don’t care attitude or an I quit attitude on the field they have that attitude in the classroom. Ultimately this is the attitude they will take into the workforce and society. So understand the Tiger organization isn’t about winning it is about Life and therefore we strive to instill those attributes that will make our children successful in life. So, no it is not “Just a Game” it is life. So help us to instill the proper work ethics and attitude in our children by teaching respect to those in authority and the appropriate attitude toward business.
