Welcome to Pom Cheer for fall 2017!
Head Coaches: Andrea Kesselman and Valerie Mattessich, assisted by interested parent volunteers and 1-2 cheerleaders from the senior squad
Summer practice schedule:
- practices begin the week of August 28
- summer = two practices per week, with days and times TBD
- after Labor Day, 1 practice per week early evening
Fall/game schedule:
- cheering for 2nd grade boys flag team
- home games at Mark Lane, with some travel to local towns as per the football schedule
- games played on Saturdays in the early afternoon (approximately 1-3pm)
Uniform:
- uniform and pompoms provided by RVJFA
- hair bow, t-shirt, sweatshirt and black ‘booty’ shorts included with registration
- you need to purchase: white sneakers, no-show white socks, black turtleneck, black no-lace leggings
Additional cheer/football events:
- RVJFA Tailgate event—date TBD in early September
- uniform fitting and stunt clinic—June 3rd
- Cheer Showcase fundraiser/performance event—October 21st
- River Vale Town Day performance—date TBD in October
