Welcome to the River Vale Raiders 2017 1st and 2nd Grade Flag Football program. My name is Frank Romano and I will be the head coach of this program.
The Flag program is an introduction to football for our younger players in a non-contact environment. This is an alternative to our Mighty Mites tackle program for 1st/2nd Grade. The Flag program is all about fun and skill development. Players will learn running, passing, catching and defensive skills. Games will be fast paced and all kids will play. We will play in a 5 vs. 5 format with no blocking or tackling. The program will take place on Saturday afternoons at Mark Lane beginning in early September.
