Racer's Edge/Sun Bru team had an awesome time.. just the experience of seeing all the pro's, meeting lots of new riders from all over the country, and hanging out together was well worth the trip.

Matt McBride brings home 3rd place in the Race of Champions!
Andrew Sperano and Trey Johnson bring home MEQ trophies for making the mains at the GRANDS their very first year! WOW!
Even better? Daniel Sperano brings home 3rd place after just getting back on the track after injury earlier this year.. at the GRANDS!

I have to mention... my lil Braedyn.. getting a 2nd place double points at Sand Springs BMX on Wednesday.. that was cool (actually it was freezing!)
We are proud of all the riders that rode for TN and GA, we represented well, the competition was fierce.... but now we have some idea on what we need to do at National level competitions, I hope to see the GA/TN families work together to begin to race more, get more riders, get the riders more full gate experiences and helpful training time. We have lots of great plans at Ocoee BMX for 2009 to help any rider who wants to come!

As we look forward to the 2009 season, we are forming our membership board to help us improve Ocoee BMX to be even better! If you are interested... just let us know and we will notify you of the meetings! We are open and willing to listen to all and anyone who wants to be a part of a great volunteer group! We have had a fantastic first season, and still have lots of plans for a GREAT 2009 season.. including our TRIPLE point Race for Life and more!
Congrats to Randy and Missy Lewis, joining Bradley Parks and Rec as NEW Track Operators! We look forward to working with them to build a GREAT BMX community in East TN!
