The Thunder girls live throughout Northern Virginia and come from Ashburn, Leesburg, Sterling, Centreville, and Chantilly and are professionally trained 8 months of the year.
The Thunder welcomes Harley Marrocco and her family to the team. Harley brings with her solid skills, strong knowledge of the game, and a passion to play; and will fit in well with the rest of the Thunder girls. Welcome to the team Harley!
Coaching Philosophy
The Thunder coaches and trainers are dedicated to keeping the game fun while developing the girls soccer skills. We understand that coaching soccer is a huge responsibility and a privilege, and that it should always remain about the kids, their development, and the enjoyment that they have playing soccer. We believe in teaching the girls during practice and letting them show us what they've learned during the games - in other words, if we do our jobs at practice, then we shouldn't have to talk too much during the games. We strive to have the girls develop a 'soccer brain' while making new friends.
Awesome Soccer at The Virginian
