WELCOME FANS AND PLAYERS!! I just want to thank each and everyone for the great season. We had an uphill battle from the beginning of the season and we pressed on. We made it to the Semi finals and finished 3rd in the league. Not bad for a team that has had so many obstacles in their way. You are true champions, you guys have earned respect from many and I thank you. This season has been full of memories and I enjoyed every second of it. Now it is time for your families; enjoy them, spend time with them as we all know they are the ones who make the biggest sacrifice. It is a big commitment playing this sport I understand that and I want to thank all the families for their support and allowing their dads, husbands, boyfriends, sons and etc. to play. Again thank you for all the great memories and I can’t wait until next season.

NEW CHANGES IN CASCADE LEAGUE FOR 2008
The board of directors of the Cascade Football League voted the following items and rules for 2008:
1. The league will pay for the championship game stadium and officials.
All monies generated from the gate and concessions will go back to the
league and maybe used for travel expenses for our champion to play in
a post season game(s).
2. All teams must send a roster of their players to the league two weeks
prior to the start of the season (April 26, 2008). The rosters are
frozen after the fifth game of the season. No new players can be added
unless it is a "medical" injury. That player can be replaced, but
cannot play again. Player agreement forms will be checked prior to
the playoffs and championship game. Any illegal player found will
result in a forfeit.
3. Game officials for the 2008 season will be assigned by the Western
Washington High School Officials Association.
4. All teams must have both a "home" and "away" jersey. Away jersey must
be white.
The O.P. Eagles are a full-contact semi-pro football team who are part of the Cascade Football League. The Eagles nest is located in Port Townsend Washington (practice in Sequim) and is representing the Olmypic Peninsula. The Eagles are a non-profit organization who help give back to the community. We have helped players get to the next level such as college, Arena football, and other high caliber leagues.

3. Pass interference rule (NFL)
4. Offensive line blocking. No cut blocking in the nuetral zone which is from tackle to tackle. Same for backs going in motion through nuetral zone. Blocking below the waist by offensive linemen only on snap of ball.
5. No Horsecollar tackles-Result a penalty
6. No hitting the center on any kicks until he raises his head.
7. High school rules on pass "bumping". Defender can bump anywhere until the ball is thrown. Must be a forward bump.
8. Uniform rules: No player is allowed to play that is wearing a off color helmet, game jersey, pants or game socks. Head official makes ruling. Player must leave the sidelines until the correction is made
CASCADE FOOTBALL LEAGUE DRESS AND CONDUCT CODES:
No player is allowed on the playing field unless he has matching helmet, game pants, game jersey and game socks. Player must return to the locker room and make adjustments before he can play. Game officials can call a penalty if the player refuses to leave the sidelines.
Any player or coach heard swearing will be penalized 15-yards. Second time the same team has a player or coach heard swearing will result in a 30-yard penalty, third time is automatic removal from the game and a 30-yard penalty on his team.
PLAYER AGREEMENTS:
Each player in the Cascade Football League must sign a "Player Agreement" form which explains that he cannot move to another team during the season unless all fines and team dues is paid, along with any team equipment he may have. It also releases the team from any liability claims by a player. Teams are limited to 50 players. However, more can be signed to to player agreements. Teams must post their fifty man roster with the name, position and jersey number two weeks prior to the start of the season. Players can be added only if a equal number are dropped up to the sixth week of the season. Rosters are frozen at that point. However, a team can apply for a 'special' medical exemption by sending a email to the commissioner for a vote.
