Philadelphia Braves
|
The Philadelphia Braves are a semi-pro football organization based in West Philadelphia. The Braves are participating in the Regional Atlantic Football League. We compete against semi-pro teams up and down the east coast extending from New York to Virginia, and plan to take a few trips to California and Florida.
The mission of the Philadelphia Braves is to provide a top quality football program, entertainment, and positive role models for our community and the surrounding areas. For the youth, the Braves participate in after school tutoring programs, and also after school athletic programs. The Braves are affiliated with the West Philadelphia Panthers who are a little league football program involving kids from 5 to 15 years old. In the last three years, the Braves have provided the Panthers 8 to 12 volunteer coaches. Between these two programs, we are providing a positive atmosphere for over 400 men, women, and children in West Philadelphia.
