    Dumbarton reached the final of the Consolation Cup 2001, losing to Paisley by 2 points.

    The team that beat Greenock Pacers in the semi-final of the Consolation Cup. Top left to right:- Stuart Cheesman, Duncan Mackie, David Reid, Osman Amir. Bottom left to right:- Gregor Bunch, Gareth Walsh, Neil Stansfield. Useless Fact. N. Stansfield played 3 mins of this match then left to play in a Div3 match against Springboig Bulls (which they lost). So to my knowledge is the only Dumbarton player to participate in two matches being played at the same time. The Div3 match started while the cup match was still being played. Amazing but true!
