Rich Warnke won the prestigious Long Island Championship in 1959 & 1960. He was the first Long Island Wrestling Champion for MHS (1959). Warnke was a 2X Section 8 Place Winner placing 5th in 1959 & 2nd in 1961. He placed 1st in the South Shore D1 Tournament three consecutive years (1959, 1960, 1961).
