The first NJIBL Awarts Party was held at PJ Whelihan's in Cherry Hill. Donations were taken to raise money for The Salt Shaker Foundation which benefits cancer research in Southern NJ.

Players on all championship teams were awarded pins with the league logo, their teams name and the respective division they had won.
Managers were awarded plaques for leading their teams to championships. Commissioner Award Winner, Kirk Nowlan for his service as league photographer. Commissioner Award Winners Deb & Dave Magaldi, Sr. for their support and volunteering for just about every NJIBL event.
Chas Grabowski, Manager of the 18+ American League Champion Glouco Giants with Commisioner Gary Shears Bob McGeehan, manager of the 18+ Oaklyn A's who won the National League and overall 18+ Division Championship. Ryan Govito, manager of the Moorestown Phillies who were the 25+ American League West Champs as well as the 25+ American League Championship.
Ricardo Rodriguez, Manager of the Camden Dominicans who were the 25+ American League East Champions. The Dominicans hit 20 HR's as a team in 2009! Kenny Rivera, manager of the Vineland A's who won the 25+ National League West Division and the 25+ National League Championship. Jason Haines of the Burlco Dodgers was not available to attend but his ball club won the 25+ National League East in 2009.
