Pikes Peak Competitive Baseball Association

The Pikes Peak Competitive Baseball Association, Inc. (PPCBA), is a nonprofit, 501(c) organization started in 1994. Fielding approximately 20 independent club teams in 9- to 14-year-old age groups that play a 10-12 game league schedule each season. The primary league affiliation is with USSSA. The PPCBA plays by modified National Federation rules (NFHS). The League also co-sponsors a Mother's Day tournament each year along with Gold Glove Youth Baseball which is our main fundraiser for the year.
The mission and purpose of the Pikes Peak Competitive Baseball Association is to give young baseball players in the Pikes Peak region the opportunity to play baseball at a higher level of competition and to play the game by the rules that they will encounter when they begin high school play. Safety of all of our players is our number one priority along with teaching sportsmanship, baseball fundamentals, character and respect not only for the game of baseball, but for our teammates and our opponents.

Our next league meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 10 at Fire Station #19, Research Blvd. and Chapel Hills drive starting at 6:00 pm. Every PPCBA team should have a coach or representative at this meeting as we will be discussing several very important and critical issues for next season. 2008 League Championship hardware will be handed out at this meeting as well.

9U Rippers are Looking for Players
Colorado Springs Rippers 9u will be hosting tryouts for the upcoming 2009 season on August 18th, 25th, and 30th. The 18th and 25th will be from 5-7pm at El Pomar complex on Field #2, and Saturday August 30th from 10-noon also on field #2. Players must be 9 years of age or younger by 4/30/2009. 9U Thunder looking for players
9U PPCBA Thunder is looking for players for the 2009 season. Age cut-off is 30 April 2009. We will play between 8-12 tournaments and league play. This team will only carry 11 players and all players will pitch. Call John for more details, 233-6417.
10U Colorado Springs Rippers will be hosting tryouts for the upcoming 2009 season on September 14th, 21st, and 28th at El Pomar Youth Sports Complex Field #8 from 1:00 to 3:00PM. 12U Falcons Looking for Players for the 2009 Season
The 2009 Pikes Peak Falcons are a new team forming for next year. We are looking for talented players to add to a core who have already committed. We will be holding tryouts on Saturday, September 6 and September 13.
