Pivot Stance Bunt

Presented byThe Baseball Academy

Starting in the standard batter's stance, pivot toward the pitcher on the balls of your feet as the pitcher is winding up. Slide your top hand about halfway to the end of the bat. Let the ball make contact with the bat, angling the bat toward where you want the ball to go.

"Getting your hands out in front of the plate will help ensure that your bunt attempt stays fair."
