We are a competitive group of women, and have players of all ages and abilities, from 15 to 50, from beginners to Canada level athletes. We play for fun and fitness and are always looking for new players to teach the great game of rugby to. We coach and referee at several high schools in the Edmonton area, as well as undertaking many tournaments and tours through out the season. No experience is necessary, just a keen attitude. If you are interested in joining the fastest growing sport for women in Canada, please call the Rockers at 461-ROCK or email us at rockersrugby@hotmail.com. Practices are held Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-8pm at the Argyll Velodrome. We look forward to hearing from you and hitting the pitch with you for a great game of rugby.

    Rockers are PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONS!!!
September 10, 2005 Congratulations to the Rockers Premiere team who won the Provincial Championship this Saturday against the LT'S. A hard fought and tough game saw the Rockers playing with heart and determintation, big hits and amazing defence in the last 15minutes. Thanks go to Janet and Summer for sacrificing their bodies for the love of the game. Way to go Rockers ~ you did it !!

A CANADIAN FIRST FOR WOMENS RUGBY
March 5, 2006 History was made in Womens rugby when Canada U19's defeated England U19's with a final score of 20-13.

England's hopes of playing a wide game were repeatedly disrupted by intense pressure from Canada's backs. Canada, meanwhile, moved the ball from side to side with all their backs finding opportunities to probe through the England line.

*Rockers player, Jennifer Kish bashed and twisted herself in for a try to make the score 8-0 for Canada at the end of the 1st half.
    WAY DA GO GIRL!!!
