FallBall Cut for 2008
Due to liability issues and the lack of supervision, there will be no organized fall baseball for the JB Baseball Program.
The call was made with the school district's concern over there being no head coach to run it. As well as, liability concerns.
That being said, if you have hopes of playing in the spring, please do some type of workout this fall. There are plenty of places to hit, throw, and run. Do not go into the spring season without having thrown a ball or hitting one.

End of an Era
Some may have heard by now, but I am making it official this week. I am regretfully resigning the Head Baseball position at JB. After a very long summer of trying to find a way to stay on, it has become just too hard to do so.
As most of you know, I teach in the Chambersburg School District and they have allowed me to leave early whenever I needed to, but that has now changed. I am currently the Head Teacher at Hamilton Heights (Assistant Principal w/o the paperwork) and have a much larger workload that doesn't allow me to leave early. That being said, I put in for several teaching positions here in Tuscarora, but did not receive a job offer.
Due to the inability to secure a position here at JB, I've been forced to resign a job that I've worked so hard to keep. This is the last thing I want to do, but have no other choice.
I want to take this time to thank everyone who I've been involved with over the past 7 1/2 years. It has been very challenging, but rewarding to me over my career here. I have no regrets as I look back on all of the relationships I've made.
The future looks bright for the JB Baseball Program, I am sure of it. Continue to work hard and dedicate yourselves to getting better. I am not sure who will take over the position, but I'm sure he will appreciate the same support that was afforded to me.
I will pass along all the information I have to the next coach, so hopefully the entire year's schedule will look familiar.
As for FallBall, it has not been set up at this time, due to the change. I will post information as soon as I get it.
Again, I want to thank everyone for the years of support that I had here at JB and will forever be grateful.
