Here's a little bit about our organization.
The Severn Athletic Club (SAC) is a multi-sport organization located in Severn Maryland for recreational youth sports. We have Soccer, Baseball, Softball, Football, Basketball, Cheerleading, Boys Lacrosse and Girls Lacrosse.
We started the Girls Lacrosse program in 2005 to provide local opportunities to play youth lacrosse. We also wanted to help provide a feeder system for area schools and make them more competitive in girls lacrosse. We are located at Severn Danza Park and a feeder organization for 7 high schools located within an 15 mile radius. These high schools are Meade, Old Mill, Glen Burnie, Annapolis Area Christian School, Martin Spaulding, North County and Arundel.
Our Location
We are located in the Severn Danza Park about 4 miles from BWI Airport on Donaldson Avenue near route 175 in Severn, Maryland. Our central location allows easy access from Route 100, or I-97. It is a great field with lights, a walking park around the field or around the park, restrooms, and a BMX track next to the field. Parents can watch their children at lacrosse practice while walking laps around the field and also watch a second child ride their bike.
We can't do it alone!
Like all recreational programs we are volunteer based organization. Volunteer support is vital. We are always interested in hearing from you if you want to help out.
If you are a high school coach or a lacrosse enthusiast or a parent and would like to help please contact the commissioner by selecting the spinning mailbox to the left.
