The Massapequa Scorpions
The Massapequa Scorpions are playing MAPS in the Fall-08, and applying to the NERP League in the Spring 2009. The squad will attend 2-3 tournaments during the Fall season including the Platinum Rated YMS Columbus Cup. The squad is attending the 2009 Platinum Rated Jefferson Cup in Richmond VA, and will apply to the 2009 Score At The Shore Tournament held in Tampa Florida winter 2009.
The team trains 2x a week in season, and participate in a comprehensive futsal skill training program during the winter. The team will play in the LI Futsal League and attend the Mid Atlantic Futsal Regionals winter 2008/2009. The squad has access to 2 state of the art field turf lighted soccer fields for training and games during the 2008/2009 seasons. It is recommended and encouraged that ALL players participate in school sports, as well as the Long Island and State ODP Programs.
