Gearing up for '08!
March 18, 2008
2007 saw the Sea Lions finally make it to the SFNABA playoffs after 5 years of toiling in the sub .500 ranks. Our opening round playoff game was played against our Division rivals, the Rebels. Though we had bested them twice during the regular season, we lost 3-0 in a hard fought game. Hats off to the Rebels pitcher "Joe" who pitched an absolute gem.
Now in the Spring of '08 we are getting set to battle for the Bay Division East championship. We lost some good teammates in the offseason: Lou Agront, Eric Bond, Tyler Herschong, Rafael Ibarra, and Stefan Shakiba. Thank each of you for being a part of Sea Lions baseball and we wish you the best of luck.
Luckily, we have found very able replacements in Alex Apter, Adam Choy, Ryan Elsey, Brad Hart, Paul Ward, and a blast from Sea Lions past, Tony Perachiotti. We look to boast a potent offense and a deeper pitching staff this season.
