Placer Pulse came to play their best game this time, after losing to the Spirits 4 - 1 last game. The Spirits controlled the pace of the game and had opportunities, but Placer's defense held strong. The final score of this first round, of the Spring League Championship, was 0 - 0. It was a well played game by both teams. Go Spirits!!! 5/4/08 Spirits '99 get their groove back...with back to back victories over Placer Tango (4-1) and Placer Earthquakes (8-2) to move on to a 5 game Championship round robin starting next week.
