Rapport sur le banquet annuel des équipes Pee-wee et Bantam L'Association de Football Stallions de St-Lazare a tenu son quatrième banquet annuel au Centre Communautaire de St-Lazare le 19 décembre 2004. Cette année, à cause du grand nombre de joueurs et des cinq équipes qui devaient être reconnues, le banquet a été divisé en deux événements séparés : une célébration pour les équipes Atome, Moustique et les Silver Stallions et une deuxième pour les équipes Pee-wee et Bantam. Ceci est le rapport pour le deuxième groupe. Arrivés à la réception, les joueurs et leurs parents pouvaient voir des extraits du DVD préparé par Danny Allaire montrant les faits saillants des matchs joués par l'équipe Pee-Wee. Ils ont pris aussi leurs photos, leurs tickets-repas et ils ont déposé des articles de nourriture non périssables. Au total, neuf boîtes de nourriture ont été recueillies par l'Association et données à une banque de nourriture locale. Dans le hall, tous les invités pouvaient regarder un 'slideshow' de centaines de photos prises pendant leurs matchs par plusieurs parents pendant qu'ils écoutaient la musique préparée par Pierre Dandurand. Juste après 18 h, Anson Williams, le Président de l'Association, a formellement ouvert les festivités et tout le monde a été invité à se servir au buffet fourni par Best Bites. Pendant que tout le monde appréciait le repas, Anson Williams a commencé la présentation de prix en distribuant les prix d'entrée, suivis par les prix aux benévoles aux commanditaires. Entraîneur David St-James, à l'aide de son personnel, a alors distribué à tous les joueurs leurs trophées de participation individuels et quelques souvenirs. Enssuite, entraîneur Ray Gaston et son personnel a distribué les trophées de participation et de souvenirs aux joueurs Bantam. Les sept prix individuels pour chaques équipes ont été présentés aux vainqueurs par leurs entraîneurs. Voici la liste des joueurs gagnants : Report on the annual banquet for the Pee-wee and Bantam teams The St-Lazare Stallions Football Association held its fourth annual banquet at the St-Lazare Community Center on December 19-th. This year, because of the large number of players and the five teams that had to be recognized, the banquet was split into two separate events: a 1 pm celebration for the Atom, Mosquito and Silver Stallions and a 6 pm party for the Pee-wee and Bantam teams. This is the report for the second group. Arriving at the reception, the players and their parents were able to see a preview of the DVD prepared by Danny Allaire showing the highlights of the games played by the peewee team. They also picked up their photos and meal tickets and they dropped off non-perishable food items. Altogether, nine boxes of food were collected by the association and donated to a local food bank. Inside the hall, all the guests were able to watch a slideshow of several hundred photos taken during their games by several parents while listening to music prepared by Pierre Dandurand. Right after 6 pm, Anson Williams, the association president, formally opened the festivities and invited everyone to help themselves to the food at the buffet provided by Best Bites. While everyone was enjoying the food, Anson Williams started the presentation of awards by distributing door prizes, followed by the awards to volunteers and sponsors. Coach David St-James, with the help of his coaching staff, then distributed to all the players their individual participation trophies and souvenirs. Coach Ray Gaston and his staff followed that up by handing out the participation trophies and souvenirs to the bantam players. The seven individual trophies for each team were presented to the winners by their coaches. While everyone was enjoying second helpings of the food or a desert, Anson Williams selected the winners of the raffle prizes, which included a Stallions tracksuit and a year's membership fees. With the 2004 season formally closed, everyone started going home at around 9:30 pm and looking forward to next year.
