All you need to know about Beacon Netball Club
Welcome to Beacon Netball Club
Our club was formed in the the early 1980s and has seen many players go onto exciting things in the world of netball.
Currently, we have 12 of our 40 athletes in National and National Development Squads
We train on Thursday evenings and (very occasionally!!) Sunday afternoons at Beacon Community Centre, Kepplehills Road, Aberdeen.
Training times:
Juniors (Aged 10 to 14) 6pm to 7.30pm Thursdays
Seniors (Aged 15 and over) 7.30pm to 9.30pm Thursdays
We currently have three senior teams:
Beacon A - Division 1
Beacon B - Division 2
Beacon C - Division 3
We have one junior team:
Beacon U15s
We currently have 6 Level 1 coaches who are busy leading different groups of players within our club.
We have 7 level C umpires and 1 working towards Level B. 3 of our umpires are very experienced local and district umpires.
Our aim is to encourage as many players into the game as possible - we start young and support our youngsters through to senior leagues, where many go onto develop their skills in becoming umpires and coaches themselves - this keeps our club going!
