History: Originally called the Whitby Chiefs (name changed in ’06) the teams regular season record from 2001 is missing, but it is known that they lost in the finals to the Stars that year. In 2003, the team was 16-8 and in the playoffs defeated Richmond Hill 2-0, then Durham 2-1 before losing 2-1 to Bloor in finals. In 2008 the team (though never known for great regular seasons) tanked during the regular season 10-15-3 becoming the only OSBA team to win the championship and then fail to make the playoffs the following year. In 2009 the team had a better regular season at 15-10-1 and made the playoffs where they beat the Chiefs 2-1 in the first round and then the Indians 2-1 in the conference finals to advance to play Bulls in the finals where they were swept in 3 straight.
History with Bulls : In 2005, they split a series in Burlington with the Bulls winning Game 1, 3-0 behind a Hayes CG win and losing game 2, 3-2 in a game where Willitts started and was relieved by Killins. The teams would then meet in the championship series where the Bulls lost game 1 5-0, Leyland taking the loss and Dunn pitching a perfect game vs the Bulls. In game 2, a horrible call ended the game and the Bulls lost 2-1 despite a McKnight CG game. In game 3, Conlon took the loss and the Dodgers took the series with a 8-4 final. The two teams did not meet in 2007 until the Whitby/Brooklin Invitational Tournament where the Bulls won 8-1 behind a McKnight CG. The teams met to close out the 2008 regular season and the Bulls got the sweep winning game 1, 7-0 behind a Kyle Pegg CG and then game 2, with Kozak getting the CG win.
