1. Weights will change from 130 to 135, and tackle to tackle will be aloud to go up to 145. This will cut the gap from the 160 league. Also the 115 will change to 120. There will be no change tackle to tackle at this weight class. No other change will take effect this year for any other weight class.
**65, 75, 85, 95 and the 105 all remain the same regarding the league weight**

2. Change of the age of participation rule is now Sept 1st. If you are born on or after Sept 1st, you can play down one weight class only if you can make weight.
3. After making weight you will only be allowed 10lbs. to gain. Last year it was 12 this year it will be 10lbs. This is the case for every weight class from 65 to 160.
4. You will get three chances to make weight this year. We will have two in Aug and one late one in Sept. If you miss the first two you can go to the third one, however anyone who misses weight at the first two has to sit out until the third game if you make it at the third weigh-in. This will eliminate all the complaint from the parents and coaches about not knowing you had only two chances.
5. We will play our championship game this year either at the Naval Academy, or Broadneck HS. We will try to get Navy first.

6. The Annual Coaches Clinic has been changed to July 24th. This is a Monday, and it will be held at a HS inside. This will be MANDATORY for every coach who will be coaching this year. Every head coach, assistant, team mom, and new coach must attend. We will be taking coaches picture ID this night and you will be required to have a ID picture on like the kids to be on the sidelines. If you can't make it, there will be a make up date two weeks later. Everyone will have to make this. If you do not attend you will not coach. PERIOD!!!!!!

7. We will have spring football this year. It will be held in MARCH for two weeks. It will be free and put on by the NFL. It’s their JPD program. This will be for players ages 11-14. Look for more details in the next week or so. This will be limited to the first 150 players countywide.

8. We will have summer 7 on 7 passing leagues. There will be a meeting in MARCH to get this going. We will have only three leagues ages 10 and under (10/9), 12 and under (12/11), and 14 and under (14/13). We will have 8 teams in each league. We will accept the first 8 teams to hand in their registration fees in full. The cost will be approx. $350 per team, and this will go to pay the ref's. I will have more info and a date for the meeting for all interested in the next two weeks.
10. Lastly we will start an AAYFA Hall of Fame. There will be a banquet in Dec of this year to honor former players, coaches, and volunteers. It will be a formal affair, and you will here more on this in the next few months.
11. Recruiting Policy
If a participant in our County leagues wants to change organizations (by sport) from the previous season, a youth player release form from the previous organization is required and must be attached to the youth player’s contract. Our youth player contract is not valid without this release (youth player release forms can be downloaded from our website).
o Organizations/coaches that fail to follow this policy may be subject to disciplinary action to include probation and/or suspension.
o Organizations/coaches who improperly recruit may be subject to disciplinary action to include probation and/or suspension.
