Minutes of Mid Year meeting held on February 16, 2010.
* Carlos Hevia, Executive Director was re-elected Executive Director for another 3 year term.
Mr. Hevia pledged to re-invigorate the Board with new members and to train an assistant for the good of the league.
* Mr. Murillo reported on the Budget.
* Mr. Calderon reported on equipment needs and rental agreements.
* Ms. Clark reported on O-40 Registrations.
* All were reminded that rosters can have a maximum of 16 players
* There will no longer be a third place trophy in any competition.
* A motion to re-introduce slide tackling in the O-50 Division was defeated for lack of a majority.
Slide tackling is therefore still considered dangerous play in O-50 Division.
* Injured reserve rule was amended. The new rule will be called Roster Restore as follows:
- Roster freeze goes in effect after the 4th week.
- On the 8th week a team may remove two players, for good cause, for one new player.
- On the 12th week a team may remove two additional players, for good cause, for one additional player.
- After the 12th week, no roster changes will be possible for any reason.
* The O-50 Golden Boot was honored as well as the Golden Gloves for O-40 and O-50.
* The dinner was delicious, the slide show was OK, and league shirts and soccer balls were raffled as prizes.
