AYSO Adult Soccer League

Annual General Meeting approves budget, sets schedule and changes some rules.
League Play begins Sep 14, 2008.

The following members were recognized for their commitment to the league. Mr. Jose Allende, Vernon Hendricks, Charles Arthur Earle, Ricardo Nunez.
Trophies were presented to Mauricio Prada O-40 best defense and Willy Rivera for O-50 Golden Boot.
The calendar and schedule will be posted on the AAL documents link. Changes to the rules were:
Maximum roster for O-40 remains at 15 players.
Maximum roster for O-50 increased to 16 players.
Only one injured reserve additional player may be added per season, after written documentation of 3 season ending injuries.
Full compliance with registration and fees required 4 weeks from the first competition game.
Forfeit of playoff game will incur a $50 fine and deduction of 3 points from next season standings.
If a team is late on the field 10 minutes after the referee signal, it will be assessed a penalty point, starting the game 0-1. If the team is still not ready after another 5 minutes, it will forfeit the game 0-5.
It was agreed that instead of trophies for O-40 fourth place, one additional, large team trophy be presented to the first place team.
Beautiful, new club shirts were distributed to the attendees.
