Spring Lacrosse Tryouts
The Boys Lacrosse program holds a maximum 75 players and as the sport grows, we may eventually become a 'cut' sport. At this time, our estimated numbers indicate that tryouts will be more of a 'placement' of Varsity and Junior Varsity players. Prior to trying out players must have physical paperwork clearance into Mike Middlebrook. Physicals are valid for 12 months. Contact mmiddlebrook@capousd.org for info.
Tryouts will be held Wednesday, November 18, Thursday, November 19, and Friday, November 20. Players need to be in full gear and ready to step on the field at 3:15 sharp! The tryouts will be broken into 3 groups: Stick skills, speed & agility, and position knowledge. The combination of all three criteria will be factors in deciding which team your player makes - Varsity or JV. Last day of tryout, there will be two scrimmage games JV at 3:30 and Varsity at 5:00, which will test the players’ field knowledge. Location is still pending.
