Perfect Game Northeast All Star Games Brings Out Baseballs Best
I had the opportunity to coach in the Perfect Game Northeast All Star game for the third consecutive year. The event brings out the top 2010 players from New York, Mid-Atlantic and New England Region. I have had the pleasure to run the underclass team each of the past three years. This years group of 2011 graduates were a talented bunch of players. Several Baseball U players did quite well at the event and represented themselves well.
Some great talent has played for and against me during this time. Each event begins for the scouts the night prior to the event with a scouts dinner. The staff and scouts talk about the players participating and make out the lineups for the next day. Some great stories are exchanged at the dinner. It is something that all of the scouts and staff enjoy and look forward to each year.
