BAYONNE RECREATION HOLDING REGISTRATION FOR THE YOUNG CHILDREN’S SUMMER PROGRAM
Bayonne Mayor James Davis has announced that the Division of Recreation Young Children’s Summer Program will be holding registration. Children currently enrolled in the Department’s Preschool Program will have first priority and additional spots will be filled in a lottery system. Registration for children not currently enrolled in the program will take place on Tuesday, May 10th, Wednesday, May 11th and Thursday, May 12h between the hours of 3:15pm – 5:45pm. Registration will take place in the Basement Room C & D at the Main Public Library at 697Avenue C. Please use the 31st Street Side Entrance.
The cost of the program is $25.00 a session. Payment will be made at a later date, and not at registration.
To enter the summer program, your child must be four years of age on or by October 1st, 2016 and be a Bayonne resident. Proof of age and residency must be provided when submitting the application. Therefore, parents need to bring a COPY of their child’s birth certificate and a PSE&G bill or driver’s license.
Youngsters may be enrolled in ONE of the following sessions:
Age 4 July 5th – July 15th from 9a.m. to 11:30am OR 1p.m. to 3:30pm
Or
Aug. 1st – Aug. 12th from 9a.m. to 11:30am OR 1p.m. to 3:30pm
Age 5 July 18th – July 29th from 9a.m. to 11:30am OR 1p.m. to 3:30pm
Age 6/7 July 5th – July 15th from 9a.m. to 11:30am OR 1p.m. to 3:30pm
Or
Aug. 1st – Aug. 12th from 9a.m. to 11:30am OR 1p.m. to 3:30pm
Applications will not be given prior to registration dates. Only students enrolled in 2015-2016 classes have been pre-registered. In early June, parents will be notified by mail regarding their child’s placement.
