The City of Bayonne and the Division of Recreation team up with the Hudson County CIACC and The Youth Success Network for free training seminars for families in Bayonne

Mayor Jimmy Davis has announced the Division of Recreation will team up with the Hudson County Children’s Interagency Coordinating Council and The Youth Success Network to host two free training seminars for families in Bayonne.

The training seminar topics are: New Jersey Children’s System of Care; and Managing Crisis in the home. The seminar on New Jersey Children’s System of Care will take place on Wednesday, October 15th, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm; and the seminar on Managing Crisis in Home will take place on Tuesday, November 18th, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.

The New Jersey Children’s System of Care will include discussion on the wraparound approach by connecting youth and families to sustainable resources within the community they live in. Parents, Grandparents and Caregivers will receive step by step instructions on: How to request a free in-home needs assessment for your child, how to obtain in-home counseling services for your child and family, and understanding the NJ Children’s System of Care.

Managing Crisis in Home will include discussion on services designed to provide what children and families need to help them cope and become empowered to manage emotions and behaviors within their home setting, while empowering them with the skills necessary in achieving future successes.

"These are difficult topics to talk about, but they are discussions that need to take place," stated Mayor Jimmy Davis.

The Youth Success Network provides comprehensive clinical solutions for families and youth in need. Whether it’s a child who just needs a positive role model in the community to assist them with making connections, or a family in crisis, The Youth Success Network provides supportive services necessary to families to help them cope and deal with difficult and sensitive issues.

Light refreshments will be served at both seminars. Please RSVP with Pete Amadeo at the Division of Recreation at 201-858-6129 or email BAYONNEREC@AOL.COM.
