2018 BLL SPRING SEASON – MINOR/MAJOR DIVISION TRYOUTS

Minor Division: A limited number of 8 year old players will be selected to play in the Minor Division for the spring 2018 season.  This tryout will be for players who will be baseball age 8 for the Spring 2018 season (born between September 2009 and August 2010) and who would like to be eligible to be selected to play in the Minor Division.  This tryout will be at 10 am in the BLL indoor training facility (ITF).  Cleats are not required, sneakers and baseball gear only.  Any player not attending this tryout or the tryout held last fall will not be eligible to move up to the Minor Division.  If your child played in the Minor Division last spring or if they attended the tryout last fall they should not attend this tryout.    
Major Division: This tryout will be for all players who will be baseball age 10, 11 or 12 for the Spring 2018 season (born between May 2005 and August 2008) and who would like to be eligible to be drafted to play in the Major Division.  Please note all 12 year olds are automatically eligible to play in the Major Division but should attend the tryout to be evaluated for draft purposes.  Any 10 or 11 year old player not attending this tryout or the tryout last fall will not be eligible to be drafted to play in the Major Division.  This tryout will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 17th on Jersey Mike’s Field.  Should the weather not be conducive to an outdoor tryout the tryout will be moved to the indoor training facility (ITF).  If your child has previously been drafted and played in the Major Division or if they attended the tryout last fall they should not attend this tryout.
