    Valpreda Says Enough is Enough
    Game: 37

After another slow start by the Tropics and some hot shooting by Rawhide, Robbie Valpreda decided that enough was enough as he asserted his will upon helpless defenders. The Tropics found themselves facing a significant deficit early as Rawhide splashed 11 quick points in the blink of an eye to take a commanding lead. The Tropics spent much of the first half methodically chipping away at the lead and took a slim 46-40 lead into halftime. The second half, however, was Tropic basketball from the get-go. The punished Rawhide with a balanced inside out attack and relentless fast-break baskets and outscored their opponent 57-31 in the second stanza. Valpreda finished with 31 points, missing only 3 shots the entire game. Frankson once again brilliantly filled the role of sidekick as he scored 22 points. Corey Saban completed the trio with a steady 16 while older brother Kyle still managed 8 assists in a foul-plagued performance. Adrian Curtis was feisty in the loss finishing with 24. The win improves the Tropics record to a perfect 6-0 heading into playoffs.
