Beavers Peaking?

The Eger Beavers began the season with an 18 point loss and went on to a 1-2 record. Since, they rattled off 3 consecutive victories and are primed for a run into the postseason. The Beavers were mildly tested on Wednesday night against Courtside but their size and inside dominance seemed to create mismatches which in turn freed up their outside attack later in the game. Don Phillips and Jesse Denscombe were able to attract enough attention on the inside to either score or make plays for the hot shooting hands of Evan Eger and Kevin Dia. Dia finished with another strong performance with 25 points. Mike Chapelsky led the way for Courtside with 12. With a few streaky scorers, Courtside is a team that no one would want to face if all cylinders fire at the same time as they could be a favorite to pull off an upset in the playoffs.
