Raymond vs Ditka
Game: 43
In my humble opinion, I believe that on Tuesday night Kris Raymond gained valuable headway in the ongoing debate as to who wins in the monumental, cosmic, inevitable battle vs Mike Ditka. With 33 points and 11 rebounds at the half, it was clear that Raymond was preparing for a record-setting spring league performance. In a game that was never really in question, Raymond was a beast and attacked the basket early and often. At the conclusion of the contest, Kris Raymond had both single-handedly out-scored and out-rebounded the opponent. Raymond: 57 points and 23 rebounds. Team Bonesaw: 53 points and 20 rebounds. Bonesaw was without some key inside players which created a flurry of mismatches in the key on both ends of the floor. Michael Szynkowski and Joel Allen had solid games as well. Szynkowski finished with 26 points and 26 rebounds while Allen added 24 and 23. This dominating performance was without the services of 2nd team all-star Daryl Balog. Vandalay has clearly made a statement to the rest of the league that they are a postseason contender.
