Late Surge Catapults Scoregasm to the Finals

After an even 23-23 opening quarter, And 1 appeared to be in control holding the lead by 5 heading into the fourth quarter. The final frame featured a massive momentum swing as Scoregasm was able to muster a rally to tie the game and surge ahead in the dying minutes. A late 3 pointer by Graeme Mitchell all but sealed the deal and forced And 1 into a scramble situation in which they had to try to manufacture points in limited possessions. Team Scoregasm was victorious by a score of 76-70 on the heels of a dominating 23-12 fourth quarter. Sheldon Lawton and Graeme Mitchell led the way for Scoregasm with 17 and 14 a piece. A major factor in the victory was the second half play of Aris Nunez-Ruiz as he poured in 11 of his 13 in the frame. And 1 was led by Ethan Sir with 18 while on the defensive end while David Brown provided a spark with several hustle plays and 8 rebounds.
