Merta Breaks Out

Les Centurions put forth one of their best 1st half efforts of the season, pushing Ramrod to the limit and forcing them to bring a solid team effort in the second half. Justin Nolette led the Centurions with 21 and Stephen Williams finished with 18. The story on this night was former Concordia star Phil Merta. In a breakout performance, Merta amassed 29 points and 9 rebounds in what is easily his best game of the season. Ramrod has the tools to do some damage in the playoffs if they can get a strong turnout and contributions from the key players.
